We pass on our knowledge through personalised training courses on taste and flavours

Understanding the mechanisms of taste and the role of food flavourings, formulating flavourings: benefit from a personalised training course given by an experienced consultant flavourist.

The taste of a product and the flavourings used are the most important criteria in the consumer's choice of a food or drink. However, obtaining the best organoleptic profile when formulating a food product requires a good understanding of the interactions between the different ingredients in the recipe. We offer a number of tailor-made training courses to meet your needs and offer your customers products of high organoleptic quality that meet their constantly changing expectations.

When formulating, the flavourist must be familiar with a large number of raw materials, regularly train their taste and smell abilities, know the main principles of flavouring regulations, etc. We offer thematic training courses tailored to the needs of flavour professionals.

Our training courses are only intra-company, designed for you according to your requirements and applied to your products. They can take place in our lab in Paris or on your premises, or even by videoconference in some cases.

Finally, we are involved in several major French flavour schools. We are passionate about passing on knowledge, and we believe that it is important to always challenge ourselves by confronting the expectations and practices of the younger generation.

What is a taste and flavour training course by Your Flavourist?

photo of Quentin Reyt, consultant flavourist at Your Flavourist

« Training and academic education, as we see it at Your Flavourist, is all about exchange. The formulation of a recipe or a flavour is not an exact science, it's a creative process in which there's no right and wrong, but rather good and less good, which is very subjective. And this creativity has to be backed up by solid technical and regulatory knowledge. As far as I'm concerned, passing on my knowledge means sharing my passion for taste and flavours. It also means confronting different practices, perceptions and tastes, and finally questioning my certainties. When I teach, I learn, and I find that thrilling! »
